The best-selling brands on the secondary market are Lime, Monochrome, Gate 31, 12 Storeez, SHU, ZNY, Ushatava and 2MOOD, writes Kommersant based on Avito calculations.
Experts explain the change in the situation because brands created by local designers are increasingly recognizable and can be purchased on resale platforms at a price several times cheaper.
According to Polina Potapova, operational director of Second Friend Store, for a brand to be interesting in the resale segment, several factors must converge: its popularity, inaccessibility in retail trade and a large number of loyal customers.
