Elon Musk doesn’t like the new Windows feature that records everything you do: “It’s an episode of Black Mirror”

Hours after the Redmond event, Elon Musk took to X (Twitter) to express his dissatisfaction with what Recall was offering. Microsoft has been working on Recall, a Windows 11 feature that was called AI Explorer before its launch, for quite some time now. This function takes pictures or pictures everything that appears on the device screen, and save it in a dedicated and encrypted location on your hard drive.

Nadella noted that these types of features can only be implemented if they run locally, without anything that the NPU processes ends up in the cloud and is misused.
