Incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) into the education process can seriously reduce teachers’ working time. According to AI Alliance experts, the use of AI can save teachers’ time by 4-5 times. According to Igor Bederov from NTI SafeNet, by 2030 the savings this time could increase up to 10 times.
The issue of excessive bureaucracy for teachers was raised by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at a meeting with the head of Rosobrnadzor Anzor Musaev. Mishustin noted that numerous reports hinder working with children. Musaev promised to reduce the number of information systems and monitoring by the next academic year.
The use of artificial intelligence makes it possible to automate routine tasks for teachers. Artificial intelligence can reduce the time spent creating tests and checking answers to 10 minutes, according to a report by Sber University. Artificial intelligence also has the ability to analyze student work and grade based on various criteria. However, despite expectations, the introduction of artificial intelligence into the educational process in Russia is still slow. According to Irina Abankina from the National Research University’s Higher School of Economics, generative AI is mainly used by university teachers, and although the use of AI in physics teaching is promising, it is still difficult due to its linearity.
