Magnit closed the deal to acquire KazanExpress in November 2023. In February 2024, the company began registering sellers on the site. At the same time, the marketplace was headed by former Yandex Shop data director Konstantin Izmailov.
Already in June, the retailer will add the opportunity to spend Magnit loyalty points on its marketplace. There is no need to use the main company application. Clients also have the opportunity to limit themselves to the Magnit Market application.
In April, Magnit unveiled the basic concept and visual design under which the company’s marketplace will operate.
And since the end of March, the first Magnit Market distribution points were opened in the capital.
