In March this year, sales of the Nokia G11 smartphone began, which due to its low price immediately became a popular hit. The device was loved for its practicality and affordability, and its sales today are in the millions. HMD Global decided to build on the success and announced a new model, which was called the Nokia G11 Plus. The Plus prefix is a bit confusing, because some improvements are expected compared to its predecessor. However, judging by the technical specifications, there will be no special improvements and we are waiting for another entry-level smartphone for undemanding users.
So the smartphone is clearly focused on the most basic tasks, that is, it is intended for communication and the Internet. To do this, it was equipped with a large IPS screen with a diagonal of 6.5″, HD+ 1600×720 resolution with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The render shows that the screen received a shape of teardrop cutout for the front camera and fairly large bezels, they even fit at the bottom of the Nokia logo.
As for the installed chipset, the octa-core Unisoc T606 with a clock speed of 1.6 GHz is expected to be installed. The latest Unisoc solutions are quite good, and more importantly, they allow you to set a good price for the final product. From memory we get a configuration of 4 GB + 64 GB, as well as an expansion slot with micro SD cards up to 512 GB.
The photographic capabilities in the future are quite good, since the main camera has a dual lens with 50MP f/1.8 + 2MP sensors. And for video calls and selfies an 8 MP lens was installed.

The battery capacity is also known – 4000 mAh, which, according to the manufacturer, should last up to 3 days of normal use.
The good news is long-term after-sales support. It is known that the Nokia G11 Plus will already come with the Android 12 operating system and will receive updates for 5 years. 2 years will update the system (up to Android 14) and another 3 years will release new security patches.
The smartphone will be sold in two colors: gray and blue, and is expected to cost $150.
