During the CIPR-2024 event, Aeroflot and Russian Railways signed an agreement with Bureau 1440, a company specializing in space technologies. They will put into use advanced satellite systems in air and railway transportation.

This means that passengers will soon be able to use high-speed internet on both Aeroflot planes and Russian Railways trains. These technologies will also help improve traffic management.

Russian Railways plans to integrate satellite systems into its information systems, which will make the Internet accessible to passengers and improve the management of cargo and unmanned trains. Aeroflot airline also expects improved Internet connections for passengers and increased flight safety thanks to new technologies.
