Xiaomi has introduced a small 5W solar panel.
They are designed to power Xiaomi BW300 and BW500 outdoor security cameras. One panel operation provides one camera.
The solar panel has IP66 water and dust protection. It can operate at temperatures from -20°C to 55°C. Energy is radiated from the battery to the zone via a three-meter USB-C cable included in the kit.
Also included in the box with the panel are mounting brackets and screws for securing it.
Xiaomi did not announce the price of the solar panel and the start date of sales. This information will probably be revealed a little later. The new product was announced on the company’s website, so most likely it will be sold not only in China. [Gizmochina]
