Customers will be able to file a claim on the mobile app in two clicks to get their money back. The Tinkoff Return platform works in five directions:
-
Dispute card purchases through chargeback;
-
“Guardianship of the check”: legal assistance for the return of money for purchases in accordance with the law on the protection of consumer rights;
-
Failed operations at ATMs;
-
Erroneous transfers to bank clients;
-
Fraudulent transactions.
Scenarios for returning transfers, purchases using a QR code or quick payment system, payment for subscriptions, insurance policies, and fraudulent purchases without card presentation were added to the service.
The developers have strengthened the platform with artificial intelligence technologies that help predict requests based on anomalies in customer transactional behavior and analysis of data from open sources and closed databases.
The bank noted that in 2023 the service worked in test mode: during this time, with its help clients were able to carry out 4.5 million transactions. More than 5 billion rubles were returned to users.
