The automated tracking service DLBI reported the leak of the customer database of the alleged online glasses and contact lenses store Ochkov.net. The company did not respond to RB.RU’s request at the time of publication.

According to the service, the dump received by the hacker contains full names, almost 700 thousand unique emails, around 150 thousand phone numbers, delivery addresses, hash passwords, IP addresses and the cost of orders.

Apparently the data is updated as of last Thursday, May 23. The company itself has not yet commented on the possible leak.

Ochkov.Net is one of the largest online stores of contact lenses, care products and accessories in Russia. The company has been operating since 2003. According to its own data, operators place more than a thousand orders. Today the store has almost 200 thousand regular customers.

  • In January 2024, the State Duma approved in first reading bills on fines for billing and criminal liability for leakage of personal data. Those who decide to transfer Russian data abroad will face up to eight years in prison, and up to five years for those who decide to make money by selling this data.
