For customers whose companies are registered outside Russia, the Mellow brand is launched. The service will be used for promotion in the US, UK and European markets. The company promised to transfer data on artists, roles and payment methods in advance for a “seamless transition.”
Mellow will become an “intermediary for legal work with contractors,” helping companies find freelancers and artists obtain digital nomad visas.
Solar Staff said the changes will not affect the geography of artists, payment methods, or the speed of support responses. The company separated the infrastructure so that the services could operate independently.
According to data from SmartRanking, the share of the B2B segment in fintech of the entire market is 10.5%. There are 24.6 billion solar employees who occupy 36.7% in this segment. At the same time, this segment is growing enormously: 25.8% growth for the year, the company noted.
- In 2023, Solar Staff changed the pricing rules for freelancers and introduced a mandatory commission for withdrawing any amount for artists. The company justified the new pricing principles with the desire to increase growth rates, change positioning and create new products.
