Less than two weeks left until Apple’s annual conference – WWDC 24. The main presentation will take place on June 10, where new versions of operating systems for most of the current Apple gadgets will be shown.
We are looking forward to system updates; we will see many cool and useful features in them. In the meantime, we’ve collected all the rumors and leaks and are trying to predict what Cook and company will talk about.
1. iOS 18 with new II and updated solution.
As always, most of the attention and rumors are focused on the upcoming iOS update. The mobile operating system for the iPhone is due to receive a major update.
► We expect minor changes in the design. The most significant innovation may be free icon gridfor the first time at the presentation of the first iPhone.
► Some applications may use the VisionOS interface.
►Add some new emoji.

The main changes we expect are integrated AI instead of an unhelpful voice assistant.
► AI is expected to be able to summarize important pages in the browser, provide rich answers and provide context in Spotlight, including playlists and new emoji.
► The Accessibility section introduces several new features. For example, control using a glance, listening to music using vibration feedback, helping people with motion sickness in the car.
2. iPadOS 18 with minor changes
As is usually the case, with a major update, one of the Cupertino systems transfers developers in this direction. Post-op operating systems have a minimum of new features.
► Of course, iPadOS will receive most of the changes from iOS 18. Nothing is yet known about any unique and exclusive features. We only know that Apple is planning to release a calculator for the iPad.
► It is also known that the update does not occur on all Apple tablets that are updated to iPadOS 17. Most likely, due to the current streak, several iPad Pro updates will be removed.
If the Cupertino team introduces a macOS update for iPad instead, we will be very surprised.
3. watchOS 11 with minor changes
As for the system, over the past six months there have been a minimum of rumors and leaks. Most likely, this will be a very minor update with bugfixes and improvements.
► Analysts believe that on the new system it will be possible to update the device starting from Apple Watch series 5. The latest generation watch, released in 2018, did not receive an update.
4. macOS 15, about which nothing is known at all
It is curious that in the year since the announcement of macOS Sonoma there have been no rumors about the upcoming system. We hope the developers did not forget to prepare a new key update.
► Most likely, in macOS 15 also add new AI options that need to be integrated into iOS 18. It could be like a new generative chatbot that has become much wiser Siri.
► And, with a high probability, the upcoming update will be the last one that supports Mac on processors Intel. Within a year, the developers were able to greatly optimize the code, removing everything necessary for the design. x86 and adjust everything as much as possible to your ARM chips.
5. Several new gadgets
Perhaps several new hardware products will be shown at the presentation. It could be:
► Updated Mac Accessories with USB-C. These devices have been awaited since last fall, when the Cupertino team transferred iPhone 15 to the new connector.
► MacBook Pro on M4. The new processor has already debuted in the iPad Pro, which logically shows several Mac models with this chip. Perhaps this will be a minor update to the head of professional laptops.
