The experts interviewed 10,000 18 -year -old users. As the survey showed, the most promising category of products is clothing and shoes. 62% of respondents are looking for them on commercial platforms. In addition, Russians often choose gifts (46%) or buy products for beauty, health and sports (45%).
Around a third of respondents said they were looking for appliances or electronic products (36%) in online sites, as well as Hobby Goods (33%). A little less Russians choose in the products of animal markets (29%) and devices, such as smartphones and smart hours (29%). Furniture and other household items are interested in 28% of users, while 24% are looking for food.
Coars are interested in only 23% of respondents, and 18% of respondents look for goods for study and self -assessment. The least popular categories are business goods that have chosen only 6% of the survey participants.
The study also showed that users look for less and less goods through search engines, preferring the search in the same sites. The vast majority of respondents (90%) said they are looking for goods in classifides and markets, only 25% of Russians use the search service for this, another 19% use the search in online stores and only 9 % find the necessary things in social networks.
“This dynamic corresponds to the global trend for the growth of search consultations in e-com. According to Emarketer, today even Gigants of IT reports a decrease in search traffic. One of the main reasons is a convenient user route in electronic commerce sites. It is here that the audience not only finds the necessary positions, but is also as close as possible to its purchase, ”explained Avito Vito Advertising Paisakhzon.
At the beginning of February, the State Duma was called to show Russian goods the first in the markets. According to the authors of the project, this will help the development of the national industry, will strengthen the competitiveness of Russian goods, as well as increase the use of the population and tax revenues to the budget.
