Asus took advantage of Computex 2024 to present its full range of high-performance laptops. The new Zenbook and Asus ProArt series promise high performance with the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor, crystal clear images thanks to high-resolution OLED displays and an extremely elegant body.
The Asus ProArt family consists of three devices: ProArt P16 (H7606), ProArt PX13 (HN7306) and ProArt PZ13, each of which offers a different usability proposition. As for the neighboring series, there is only Zenbook S16.
All advertisements focus on delivering high performance in a compact and well-built body. The technical sheet differs in important points such as graphics processing.
Asus Zenbook S16
For those looking for the simplest laptop possible, the standout product is the Asus Zenbook S16. The model has a 16″ screen with 3K OLED resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate in a body that is only 1.1 cm thick.
Inside the Zenbook S16 is the recently announced AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor. The chipset consists of 12 CPU cores (24 threads), a 2 GHz base clock and up to 5.1 GHz boost clock. The device supports up to 2TB of storage on SSD and is sold with up to 32GB of RAM.
Produced with the aluminum ceramic coating found on the Zenbook 14X, Zenbook S16 is powered by a 78 Wh battery that promises good autonomy due to the efficiency of Ryzen AI 9 and offers an audio experience with 6 speakers from Harman Kardon.
New Asus ProArt
The Asus ProArt family continues its bid to deliver versatile machines and cutting-edge hardware. The star of the family is the Asus ProArt 16, which is almost a more compact version of the ProArt Studiobook, has a Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 chipset and a GeForce RTX 4070 GPU and is more than capable of presenting images on a 16″ OLED screen with a resolution of 4K ( 60Hz).
According to a different suggestion, the ProArt PX13 is a hybrid machine similar to the ROG Flow X13. Inside there is the same AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 and Nvidia GeForce 4060 GPU. The OLED screen has 2.8K resolution, HDR support and touch input features.
Finally, there is the Asus ProArt PZ13. Focusing on portability, the hybrid model is completed with a removable keyboard with a structure similar to Microsoft Surface Pro and includes Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus.
