Whiz, the American courier e-bike rental service, has raised $12 million from Leta Capital, Flashpoint VC and other investors. A representative of Leta Capital told RB.RU this.
Whiz will use the funds to expand its fleet of e-bikes in New York and New Jersey. Currently, Whiz has a fleet of 2.5 thousand electric bicycles, which it rents to couriers.
According to Crunchbase, the total amount of funds raised by Whiz is $20 million. In April 2023, the startup raised $3.4 million from s16vc, TMT Investments, Joint Journey.
The startup Whiz was founded in 2022 by Mikhail Peregudov, Alexey Mironov, Ksenia Proka and Artem Serbovka.
