In a previous review, I introduced you to the Digma Techno city scooter, which received excellent brakes and a comfortable frame design. On this occasion I propose to consider a different model of two-wheelers from the Digma brand called Best. Digma Best differs from the previous scooter by an elongated platform and a manual rear brake.
factory packing
The Digma Best scooter is already supplied in the usual packaging with the name of the scooter model. Specifications are placed on the side face.

Design
The Digma Best city scooter has also received a folding design for easy storage and transportation. Compared to the Techno model, this scooter has gained a bit of weight and weighs 6.6kg (vs. 6.3kg). The main difference is in the rear disc brake and the handlebar grips.

The unfolding process is elementary, we remove the latch from the rear wing and push the steering column with a sharp movement. With the correct actions, you can hear a characteristic click, but if it is not there, then I recommend slightly unscrewing the screws on the opposite side of the folding angle.

Next we move on to the rear wheel, which is fitted with a disc rotor for more efficient braking. Along with a handbrake, you can also use a foot brake, how effective it is difficult to say, due to the excellent work of each of them. But it is more common to use the steering wheel grip as it increases the feedback between the grip and your hand.

To ensure a smoother ride, the scooter is equipped with a rear shock absorber, the spring of which is painted red. As in the Techno model, there is a window for visual control of the status of the shock absorbers.

The length of the deck is 53.5 cm, the width is 14.6 cm Unlike the previous scooter, the Best model allows you to put both legs one behind the other, which adds the usual comfort. The frame is fixed in the unfolded state with the help of a red lever. For the reverse transformation of the scooter, it is enough to fold it backwards and press it with your foot.

When folded, the dimensions of the Digma Best scooter are 94*15*25 cm, while when unfolded it reaches 98.5*38*90/103 cm.

The entire frame is made from aluminum alloy and all bearings used are ABEC 9. The rear handbrake line runs through the front fork legs and through the deck itself. The physical size of both wheels is identical to the Digma Techno scooter and is 200mm.

The steering column is telescopic and, thanks to the upper clamp, it allows the height to be adjusted from 90 to 103 cm.

For rear parking brake operation, a handle is provided for the right hand, which is easily rearranged for the left hand if desired. The parking brake is different from and more effective than the rear fender brake.

driving performance
In addition to a manual rear brake, the Digma Best urban scooter is equipped with rubber tires that partially absorb bumps and joints from the road surface. At the same time, I did not notice much difference in rolling, the scooter accelerates well both with polyurethane wheels and with rubber wheels.

But the presence of an additional handbrake allows you to develop higher speeds, since there is more confidence in it than in the rubber insert under the fender lining.

Summarizing the Digma Best urban scooter, I would like to highlight the solid construction, the presence of a rear disc brake and full rubber tires. Comments include the lack of a standard running board and reflectors (identical comments for the Digma Techno scooter), which are recommended for use on roads and playgrounds, especially at night.
