How could the sequel to Sekiro: Shadow Die Twice be if it was made in? Unreal Engine 5? A wonderful concept fan made trailer answers that question and shows fans how hypothetical can be sekiro 2, renamed here with the name Sekiro II: Shadow Resurrection.
The video, which you can find below, was created by Enfant Terrible and shows what the sequel to the FromSoftware game might look like if it were moved by the powerful Unreal Engine 5able to display detailed scenarios, new lighting effects and much more realistic reflections.
Originally released in 2018 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice set in the Sengoku era, the protagonist is a shinobi, the Wolf, who has only one arm left and whose fate is tied to a young lord of noble birth.
Acclaimed by critics and audiences alike, the FromSoftware game won Game of the Year award at The Game Awards 2019 and also reached the 5 million copies sold. To date, nothing has been said about a possible sequel and given Hidetaka Miyazaki’s decent statements, it’s very likely that the team wants to focus on new projects at this point.
According to some clues that have surfaced on the net in recent days, it seems that the team wants to focus on a return of the Armored Core series. After all, Miyazaki herself made no secret of the desire to restore the team’s historic run.
