VisionOS2 operating system
The operating system of Apple’s Vision Pro helmets has added a mode to view photos from iCloud with 3D mode and new control gestures. The system also has additional display settings and the ability to display an image from a Mac.
Vision Pro will soon be sold in eight new countries.
iOS 18 operating system
Among other things, iOS 18 added a free grid for arranging icons. New app icons have appeared in the dark theme. The control center can now be customized by changing the position of elements.
iMessage has added the ability to format text, delay sending messages, and reply quickly. Additionally, in iOS 18 you can set a password for any app.
WatchOS 11 smartwatch operating system update
A training load calculation has been added to the operating system, which will take progress into account for future classes. The Vitals option will monitor deviations in the user’s health status and a new translator with voice input will help translate the text.
The operating system also added the ability to change the set of widgets depending on the user’s tasks and the ability to pay by the hour.
iPadOS 18
The iPad added a calculator with handwriting input and the use of a proprietary stylus. Handwritten notes can be corrected.
The iPad also added the option to draw on the desktop, a customizable control center, and the ability to remotely control other Apple tablets.
Apple Intelligence
The company has launched its own AI development, which is integrated into all Apple operating systems. In particular, you will be able to separate notifications into important and unimportant ones.
AI will highlight the main thing in notes, reminders, emails and messages. Additionally, using technology, you can generate photographs, even from existing images.
Apple promises users security in data processing: they will be inaccessible even to the company itself. Some data processing will be done in the cloud and OpenAI technologies will be used for some queries.
