Magnit Market (formerly KazanExpress, owned by retailer Magnit) announced the official start of its work in Moscow.

The first test collection points at Moscow’s Magnit Market opened at the end of March. Now the network of collection points in the capital has more than 300 points. By the end of summer, their number is expected to increase to 1,000.

Magnit Market collection stations are opening in the stores of the Magnit retailer in convenience store and drogerie format. This allows Magnit to attract additional traffic to its points.

To support the launch, the retailer launched a marketing campaign spanning over 300 media: billboards, billboards, digital formats, banners in Magnit stores.

  • Magnit closed the deal to acquire KazanExpress in November 2023. In February 2024, the company began registering sellers on the site. At the same time, the marketplace was headed by Konstantin Izmailov, former data director at Yandex Shop.
  • In April, Magnit unveiled the basic concept and visual design under which the company’s marketplace will operate. Since the end of March, the first Magnit Market distribution points were opened in the capital and in May Magnit added its market to the main application.
