Let’s say you want to buy yourself a new phone and you have 20 thousand rubles. What to take in this case: iPhone SE 2 or Xiaomi Redmi Note 12?

With the configuration, everything can be different. With the iPhone SE 2, the first batches came out with headphones, power supply and cable, and the last batches (in 2021-2022) came with just one cable. Xiaomi already has a better kit. You get fast charging, cable, case, film (immediately glued to the screen) with this phone. Redmi Note 12 supports two SIM cards and one memory card.

However, the iPhone SE 2 looks much more compact compared to the Redmi Note 12. The diagonal of the iPhone is 4.7 inches, while the Xiaomi is 6.67 inches. Also, Xiaomi is made entirely of plastic, while the iPhone’s case is made of metal and glass. Also, the iPhone does not have a headphone jack, unlike the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12.

The iPhone launched faster than the two smartphones. And this despite being 3 years older than the Redmi Note 12. The processor of the iPhone is still more powerful and this phone will take longer to update.

Of the cons of the iPhone SE, it can be said that it has a small battery of 1821 mA.h. Xiaomi’s battery capacity is 5000 mAh. Charging with Xiaomi is also more powerful: 5 W versus 33 W.

The iPhone SE 2 is equipped with optical stabilization, but unlike the Xiaomi, it does not have an ultra-wide and macro lens. However, the iPhone can record video at 4K, while the Redmi Note 12 can only record at 1080p. You can see the photo examples above. But in general, the devices are removed in approximately the same way.

If video quality is important to you, if you are active on social networks and want to buy yourself a new phone 5-6 years in advance, then buy an iPhone. And if you take the device for a maximum of 2-2.5 years, then Xiaomi will be better.
