Dell launched its new Alienware m16 R2, XPS 13 and Inspiron laptops for the Brazilian market this Tuesday (18). The models come with different offerings and provide competent technical sheets for productivity or gaming anywhere.
The announcements are driven by a review of the Dell Among the firsts of the day in the Inpiron family are Inspiron 14, Inspiron 14 2-in-1 and Inspiron 16 Plus.
Although they offer different structures, all models aim to meet the needs of the most demanding segment. Check out Dell’s news for Brazil below:
XPS13
The XPS 13 joins the XPS 16 by offering a more compact alternative but without sacrificing performance. The model is sold in two options: one with a 13.4-inch display with 3K resolution (2880x1800p), a frequency of 60 Hz, OLED and touch support, the other with a 13.4-inch OLED Full HD+ (1920x1200p), frequency up to 120 Hz and without touch.
Inside the XPS 13 is Intel Core Ultra 7 155H (16 cores, up to 4.8GHz), 16GB or 32GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 512GB or 1TB PCIe M.2 SSD storage. Graphics processing is handled by Intel Arc, so there’s no focus on real-time rendering for games.
The body of the XPS 13 is Platinum (silver), with 4 speakers, two Thunderbolt 4 (type-C) inputs, ABNT2 standard keyboard, Full HD webcam and 55 Whr battery, promising up to 18 hours of autonomy in the model Full HD +.
Alienware m16 R2
Appealing to gamers, Dell brought Alienware m16 R2 to Brazil. The company notes that the model “retains the solid construction of the previous generation” and includes anodized aluminum on the lid and back of the computer, as well as an AlienFX RGB backlit keyboard with per-key customization.
Alienware m16 R2 is sold with Intel Core Ultra 9 185H (16-core and up to 5.10GHz) or Intel Core Ultra 7 155H and 16GB or 32GB DDR5 RAM. Storage is available in a single option: 1TB PCIe M.2 SSD. The GPU is an 8GB Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 or an 8GB GeForce RTX 4070.
On the outside, there is a 16-inch screen with Quad HD + resolution, a frequency of up to 240 Hz and a response time of 3 ms. External audio is provided by stereo speakers and there are a variety of USB ports; 2 of them are Type A at USB 3.2 Gen 1, two USB-C, HDMI 2.0 and a headphone jack.
Completing the set, the body is built in Alienware’s “Legendary industrial design language” and in the Dark Metalic Moon color. The keyboard is ABNT-2 and its battery has a capacity of 90 Whr.
Dell Inspiron
Of all, the Dell Inspiron family is the most diverse. Inspion 14 is available in conventional or hybrid version (2 in 1). Both are sold with Intel Core 7 150U (10 cores, up to 5.4GHz) or Intel Core 5 120U processors, with 8GB or 16GB DDR5 RAM and 512GB or 1TB PCIe M.2 SSD storage. On the outside, the hybrid version has a 14″ Full HD + (1920x1200p) touch-enabled screen.
There’s also the Inspiron 16 Plus, which is more powerful than previous models with Intel Core Ultra 7 155H, 16GB or 32GB of RAM, 512GB or 1TB of storage, and dedicated GPU GeForce RTX 4050 or RTX 4060. As the name suggests, the screen is 16 inches Quad HD + (2560x1600p) and has a frequency of 120 Hz.
Price and availability
According to Dell, the new XPS 13 will be available in Brazilian retail starting this Tuesday. The model starts at R$ 9,900. The Dell Inspiron family will arrive in the country in July and the price has not been announced. Finally, the Alienware M16 R2 is available on Dell’s official website with prices starting from R$ 12,699.00.
