The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade has denied freezing the provision of subsidies to Russian radio electronic companies, TASS writes citing the ministry’s press service.

Earlier, the Vedomosti newspaper reported that the Ministry of Industry and Trade began checking the effectiveness of subsidies granted in the field of radio electronics and suspended the granting of funds.
“The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade continues to provide subsidies to radio electronic companies. Another selection is currently being carried out according to government decree 1252 (approves the rules for granting subsidies to national organizations), ”he said at the ministry.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade noted that the number of supported projects is “constantly growing” and, at the same time, the number of inspections by regulatory authorities is increasing.
They also added that “any subsidy granted by the State must be guaranteed by results and the funds must be spent efficiently.”
