Rospatent has registered the trademark of the German alcoholic spirits manufacturer Jagermeister. RTVI drew attention to this.

The trademark was registered in June 2024, the application was filed in November 2023. Legal protection of the trademark in Russia extends to alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, beer, clothing, shoes and hats.

Jagermeister stopped supplying Russia in 2022. The company demanded in court to recover 197 million rubles from the Russian Kristall plant and to prohibit it from selling Alter Heiler and Konig Heiler liqueurs, but lost in court.
