The dating service TON Dating has appeared on Telegram. It has nothing to do with the founders of the messenger – Pavel and Nikolai Durov. It was launched by the former director of VK Dating, Vladimir Makhov, writes the publication Durov Code.

Registration for women is free, and for men it is paid: 1 month – 2.5 thousand Telegram Stars or 5.7 thousand rubles. The time spent on the application is monetized.
Potential participants will undergo a multi-stage identity verification, the algorithm of which is developed by analogy with security systems used in online banking. This will remove bots and fake accounts.
Investments for the creation of TON Dating amounted to 100 thousand dollars or about 9 million rubles. By 2027, the number of active users of the service should exceed one million people, Makhov predicts. The main geographic coverage of the audience will be the countries of the former CIS, the Middle East, Europe and Asia.
