The Prosecutor General’s Office was asked to control all manufacturers and sellers of prepared foods after the mass poisoning of Russians with dishes from LokalKitchen LLC (“Local Kitchen”) and Gastroport LLC. The deputy chairman of the State Duma Security Committee, Anatoly Vyborny, made such a request, writes Izvestia.

According to the parliamentarian, he receives requests from citizens concerned about the current situation, since they are regular buyers of prepared food.
It does not rule out that the poisoning could be due to improper storage of these products by the manufacturers in the summer heat. According to him, often companies, in order to save costs, save on refrigeration equipment, which is simply unacceptable, especially at this time of year.
Opora Russia believes that inspections should not affect everyone, but mainly those businessmen whose products are at risk and could cause such incidents. At the same time, social activists insist that control be fully restored over all catering companies.
