Avito orders sent from post offices will be issued by Pochta partners. Now you can choose delivery to one of 70 points in 33 cities in Russia when making a purchase.
Avito reported that in the near future the logistics operator plans to expand its network of points by several thousand throughout the country. In addition, in the future these points will be able not only to issue, but also to receive packages from Avito sellers.
Avito has been cooperating with Russian Post since August 2019, when the postal operator began sending parcels to the platform.
- Russian Post is developing its own project of associated delivery points starting from the end of 2022. The format assumes that collection points of various markets, retail stores and points of sale located more than 500 m from the post office can accept packages for subsequent transfer to Pochta for delivery.
- The postal operator also issues orders placed in the markets of its branches.
- Previously, Russian Post informed RB.RU about plans to increase the number of partner collection points to 5 thousand by the end of 2024 (currently there are about 2.5 thousand).
