On June 14, an outbreak of botulism occurred in Russia. As of June 25, the number of people hospitalized with this disease exceeded 300. On June 24, one patient died in the Kostroma region.
The outbreak was caused by salads from the “District Kitchen” and “Gastroport” restaurants, which people were eating. As part of the investigation into the outbreak, three people were arrested and criminal cases were opened.
