The Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad plans to expand its production to include the production of ferrous and non-ferrous castings. The company’s president, Denis Pak, announced the start of production of electric drive components such as electric motors, gearboxes, power electronics and hybrid powertrains.

In addition, Avtotor plans to start producing internal combustion engines for ordinary cars. Park also did not rule out the possibility of producing automatic transmissions, steering systems and brakes in the future.

The company’s president also emphasized that the production of auto parts will be organized jointly with the company’s partners.
