Legrand has been operating in the Russian Federation for 30 years. In 2023, the company decided to leave the market; the assets (four production plants, offices and a representative office in Belarus) were acquired by IEK GROUP. Then the new owner promised to invest up to 1 billion rubles in production over three years.

The company will now continue to operate under two separate brands: Daccord and Kontaktor. The former will produce electrical installation products, cable support systems and equipment for organising workplaces. Low-voltage electrical equipment will be produced under the Kontaktor brand.

According to Maxim Levin, general director of LLC Legran, JSC Kontaktor and LLC EBS, the new name is aimed at strengthening the company in the market and increasing its recognition.

“Our task is to make a smooth transition from Legrand to Daccord to offer the consumer a complete range of high-quality electrical equipment,” said Maxim Levin.
