According to the director of the Catalysis Institute SB RAS Valery Bukhtiyarov, the plant will be used by experienced specialists who will assist in the installation of equipment in the initial stages. This will enable the center to be opened to everyone through a competition by 2026.

Negotiations with industry have already begun to provide research opportunities on high-tech equipment and to ensure the anonymity of the research. The facility includes 34 buildings and engineering equipment for advanced research in various fields such as chemistry, physics, materials science, biology, geology and humanities.

Bukhtiyarov noted that the main buildings will be ready by the end of 2024, which will allow equipment installation to begin in parallel with the completion of construction.
