A comprehensive service center for foreign citizens was inaugurated in the second terminal of Pudong International Airport in Shanghai. It is currently operating in test mode, but passengers can already receive advice on banking and telecommunications services, transport and tourism, as well as exchange currency at special terminals.

Access to the Center is possible immediately after entering the arrivals hall for international flights, TASS reports citing the Shanghai Foreign Affairs Committee.
Consultations on the areas are provided by specialists from specialized organizations: representatives of the Bank of China inform about payment methods, employees of cellular operators inform about communication services, etc.
An additional advantage of the Center is the presence of automatic terminals for withdrawing and exchanging currency. And if Russians cannot make the first card transaction due to sanctions, then it is possible to exchange rubles. One of the terminal languages is Russian.
There is also a telephone in the Center for emergency communication in case of lack of local SIM card or roaming connected. And the airport plans to organize a similar center in the first terminal.
