Russia and Tanzania are working to ensure the possibility of using cards from Russian banks in the African country.

According to the Ambassador of Tanzania to the Russian Federation, Andrei Avetisyan, with the growing number of Russian tourists in this country, the question arises of providing travelers with the possibility of paying without cash.
As Avetisyan noted in an interview with TASS, Tanzania is committed to expanding trade and economic cooperation with the Russian Federation. Establishing interbank cooperation would contribute to the development of the partnership, the ambassador said.
The two countries have previously signed an air services agreement. National legislation will apply to carriers on a mutual basis. The parties have also agreed to cooperate in the field of flight safety and aviation security in accordance with ICAO standards.
Avetisyan also stressed that today there are no barriers to launching direct charter flights from Russia to Tanzania.
