A pilot project to test a mechanism that would allow beneficiaries to use a virtual social card in public transport has been extended until the end of 2025. The Russian government resolution has already been signed.

It should be noted that virtual cards are being introduced for the convenience of citizens. However, you can use the usual ones without any restrictions.
Recall that last summer a voluntary experiment with virtual social cards began in the interested regions. To create such a product, residents of the regions participating in the project had to link the Mir card to a smartphone in the Mir Pay payment application, then submit a request to register a transport product through a special form in the State Services and wait to notify its availability. Information about this is published on the Russian government website.
After receiving it, simply touch the terminal on the transport with your smartphone; The system will immediately determine whether the citizen is entitled to preferential travel and, if confirmed, he or she will be able to use his or her right.
We previously wrote that we decided to extend the preferential family mortgage to a larger number of Russians. It can be obtained at 6% annually.
