The government has moved the start date of mandatory clothing labelling to 15 September. The decision was published on the legal information portal.
We are talking about items of clothing that are included in the “Honest Sign” from 1 April 2024. This includes clothing made of faux fur, some work clothes, sports and ski suits.
Previously, the qualification deadline was set for July 1, but now it is September 15.
The company requested a postponement of the start date of marking, as many of its representatives did not have time to comply with the requirements. For example, sellers in markets: products must be collected from the market warehouse, labeled and sent back to the warehouse.
Starting March 1, 2025, the list of products required for labeling will include 12 more items: children’s clothing, socks, underwear, hats and more.
