LG announced the discontinuation of product deliveries to Russia in March 2022. At the same time, the Korean company remains interested in the Russian market: it integrated the Yandex voice assistant “Alice” into all its devices released in 2022, and LG’s Polish plant in Mlawa began adapting Smart TVs to the Russian market.
In February 2024, monobrand stores of LG, Sony and Bosch began to close in Russia due to “lack of supply”; some of them are selling the remaining products; their places will be taken by suppliers from Turkey and China.
