According to the university press service, the main focus will be on the development of low-orbit space systems for broadband Internet and other services necessary for hard-to-reach areas of Russia. It is planned to create a laboratory for receiving and analyzing spacecraft signals, as well as to develop and launch our own satellites for testing new communication technologies.
The press service added that the center will also include training for students, including work with amateur radio groups and employment opportunities in companies involved in satellite launches.
