Paid reactions may appear on Telegram. Users will place stars under posts, and the authors of the channels on which the posts were published will be able to convert these stars into the Toncoin cryptocurrency.

The Telegram messenger is testing the paid reactions option for several users, as stated in the terms of use of the service.
The paid reaction looks like a star and works on a donation system. Users will be able to leave such reactions on posts and the authors of the channels where the posts were published will be able to convert the stars into the cryptocurrency Toncoin.
Telegram will show users who left the most stars under the post. In this case, a user can give multiple stars.
Telegram launched its internal currency Stars in June 2024. With Stars, launching applications on Telegram will make more economic sense than launching traditional mobile applications, Pavel Durov noted.
