VK has added generative AI to its Tracer service, which analyzes crashes and issues in applications and offers solutions to them, the company said.

VK has implemented generative AI in its app bug collection and analysis service
The new tool is expected to enable developers to quickly and efficiently identify the causes of errors and find ways to eliminate them. As a result, this will reduce time at every stage of application development.
The AI model analyzes the stack trace (a detailed report of the crash) and finds possible causes of the crash, highlighting the most likely one, or compiles a list of factors that could cause the crash.
After identifying the root cause, the neural network will offer specific advice on how to resolve the error. For example, it will suggest changing the code, updating the library, or taking other actions that will help prevent the error from recurring.
AI takes into account the specific characteristics of the application, its architecture and the technologies used.
Tracer is a VK tool for monitoring the stability of Android and iOS applications in real time. The service was developed by the Odnoklassniki (OK.TECH) team and was subsequently implemented in most VK products. The tool is free and available for integration at apptracer.ru.
