According to Android Authority, Google AI will be a major part of the new Pixel smartphones. New features will include an “Add Me” feature to help everyone be included in a group photo, and a creative Studio assistant for creating photos and stickers.
Of particular note was the Pixel Screenshots feature, which is similar to Microsoft’s controversial Recall feature designed to capture activity on a device.
Note that these features put Google AI in direct competition with Apple Intelligence, which will be released with iOS 18 later this year.
Other manufacturers like Samsung and Motorola are also working on generative AI features for their new phone models.
