WhatsApp voice notes are already very popular as they make it easier for us to write texts that are sometimes too long. And the thing is, while there’s a rather hateful group of them, the feature is very useful when you’re in a hurry and need to send information quickly.

However, WhatsApp users may sometimes find themselves in a situation where they cannot hear voice notes sent by someone, such as when there is a lot of noise or we just don’t want an accident to happen and our surroundings find out. This is when transcribing WhatsApp voice notes can be your great solution.

That’s why today we’ve come to show you the Transcriber, a free application that performs this function quite effectively, as we were able to test, and below we will show you a demo of how it works. We leave you a link to the app so you can download it.

Once installed, there is not much to configure, but by default, the application will only detect English and Spanish. You can dive into the app’s settings to select any other language to detect.

Go to the WhatsApp chat where the voice note is located. and keep it pressed to be able to click “Share”. This is where this application will appear that we must access to start the transcription process.

You will see two options: decrypt the application or listen to it in incognito mode (a secondary function of the application). Select Transcribe, skip any ads that may appear and wait a few seconds until transcription is complete.

Next, you will see the message is transcribed in a small box from which you can copy the decrypted text or share it directly. It may report an error if we mix English with Spanish words in the audio, but its accuracy after several tests is pretty accurate.
