The data centers that Amazon will build will be controlled by its local subsidiary Amazon Web Services. We are talking about a “top secret” cloud that provides high-speed and large-scale computing power. A total of three such centers will be built in “secret” locations.
The new large-scale project will use advanced artificial intelligence technologies and be operational by 2027. Australia says the government will have “full sovereignty” over data and computing despite the US contractor.
Similar data centres have already been created in the US and UK, allowing the exchange of “massive amounts of information”.
