It is built on a modified version of the NASCAR Next-Gen chassis, which was introduced in 2022 and developed with support from Chevrolet, Ford and Toyota.

While early tests have shown a slight slowdown in corners due to the weight, NASCAR remains optimistic about the future potential of electric racing technology alongside its current V8 series.

While media reports say hybrids are imminent, NASCAR’s focus on fully electric cars could lead to innovations in the coming years.
