This Thursday (9), C6 Bank/Ipec published a survey on digital security, and according to the results, 48% of respondents say: I already forgot one password recorded after just five minutes. In total, two thousand Brazilians of classes A, B and C were questioned.
The research shows that forgetting passwords is a constant problem among Brazilians, and therefore, 10% of respondents say they use the word “password” as their access code for websites or apps. inclusive about 33% of respondents said they prefer memorizing easy codeeven if they are not safe.
“Obvious password combinations like 1234 or a birthday are the first to be tested by criminals and should be avoided for that very reason. Use a different password for each site or service and avoid reusing the most important ones. Choose strong combinations, preferably alphanumeric ones,” said José Luiz Santana, head of cybersecurity at C6 Bank.
