Specialists of Roskachestvo’s specialized departments have issued certificates of compliance with Muslim Friendship for two hotels in Russia. These are the first halal certificates issued to hotels in Russia, Roskachestvo reported.

The Izmailovo hotel complex, the Alpha building in Moscow and the Erbelia by Vasta, Rosa Khutor hotel in Sochi have been granted the status of Muslim Friends.

The Halal standard includes basic, advanced and full compliance levels. For example, one level involves completely renouncing the sale of foods and drinks prohibited in Islam, the other involves delimiting routes for different tourists within the hotel.

This classification gives companies the opportunity to independently decide which tools to implement. The Muslim Friendly standard does not imply any restrictions on the target audience of tourist sites.
