They will be manufactured at TSMC’s plant in northern Taiwan. The equipment for their production was delivered in the second quarter of this year.
If all goes well, Apple will release its 2nm chips in 2025. This will allow companies to improve the efficiency of transistors, thereby increasing their performance and energy efficiency.
Apple currently uses 3nm process technology in its latest M4 and A17 Pro chips.
