Antitrust regulators have accepted Apple’s proposal to provide competitors with access to the NFC chip to launch their own payment systems.

Developers will be able to create their own analogue of Apple Pay for wireless payment of purchases. The innovation will be in effect for 10 years, and the Cupertino company will have to report on their implementation.
