The National Association of Healthcare Managers asked Health Minister Mikhail Murashko to allow doctors to conduct online appointments outside of the clinic.
This will make it possible to attract doctors who are on maternity leave or who have a disability not related to cognitive functions.
The current law “On the Fundamentals of Health Protection of Citizens” allows online consultations only to decide on the need for an in-person appointment with a patient, to analyze his/her medical history, assess the effectiveness of treatment and diagnostic measures, and adjust previously prescribed treatment.
