This news comes after the company launched the Galaxy S24 models, which stand out for their AI capabilities. One of these is Live Translate, which is already available in Samsung apps for calls and messages.

Insider Ice Universe reports that WhatsApp will be the first third-party app to get Live Translate support. There is no official word on the launch date yet, but it is expected to be revealed soon.

Now the Live Translation function translates the subscriber’s voice into the preferred language in real time and displays the transcription of the translation on the screen.

This feature will significantly improve the communication experience of WhatsApp users and may also be available for other apps like Telegram, Google Meet, and Viber.
