According to the Downdetector portal, the first problems started around 10:00 Moscow time the day before, with the peak activity of the failures occurring between 11:00 and 12:00.

Many users reported experiencing issues since the night of July 7-8, as they were only able to send text messages and audio and video files were not downloading.

In some cases, even sending regular messages was delayed.

Residents of the southern regions of Russia were particularly hard hit. Please note that the cause of the incident is still unknown at this time.
