CapCut to end free cloud storage, including in Brazil

CapCut will stop offering free cloud storage Starting August 5. The company announced the end of the feature in a notification sent to free users.

Until today, Each user of the free service account is entitled to 1 GB to save projects on the platform’s serversThe tool not only enabled backing up videos but also allowed working on them across multiple devices.

From August 5th, free storage will be cut offUsers will still be able to download projects and files saved in the cloud, but the upload option will not be available.

This will probably be the last time I’ll be using capcut before this change kicks in.

I don’t have money to pay for the subscription because I have important things to pay for.

I’ll have to try to find another video editing app that won’t charge for storage.
