Former Rostelecom CFO Sergei Anokhin will become CEO of VimpelCom. The company will also change its board chairman, who will be appointed by Alexander Torbakhov.

Alexander Torbakhov will leave his post as CEO of VimpelCom (Beeline brand) and will head the company’s board of directors, the press service of VimpelCom announced.
Sergey Anokhin will take over as CEO of VimpelCom. He is the former CFO of Rostelecom and previously worked at VTB, SAS.
Torbakhov has been the head of VimpelCom since 2020. The reasons for the staff changes at the company were not disclosed.
